✨ About the Role

This is a hands-on role focused on creating and maintaining reusable Figma components for Yesim’s Web, App, and B2B products.

You will work with an established Foundation and Core Components architecture. The Design System Lead will define the overall direction and priorities, while you will help build, improve, and scale the component library.

📝 Responsibilities

• Core component development

• Create and maintain reusable Core Components in Figma.

• Build variants, component properties, and interaction states.

• Use auto-layout, constraints, variables, tokens, themes, and modes.

• Create component-level tokens within the agreed architecture.

• Maintain clear naming, structure, and organisation of Figma libraries.

• Create component examples and reference screens.

• Collaboration with product teams

• Work with Web, App, and B2B designers to understand recurring product needs.

• Identify patterns that could become shared Core Components.

• Help product designers use and extend existing components correctly.

• Participate in the gradual migration of products to the shared design system.

• Collaborate with the Design System Lead and incorporate feedback during reviews.

• Design-to-code collaboration

• Work with frontend and mobile developers to clarify component behaviour and states.

• Help keep Figma components aligned with coded components.

• Understand basic concepts such as design tokens, component APIs, variants, and responsive behaviour.

• Review implemented components for visual consistency.

• Writing production code is not required for this role.

• Check components for consistency, responsive behaviour, localisation, and accessibility.

• Improve components based on feedback and review.

📩What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Product, UI, or UX Designer.

• Strong Figma skills: components, variants, properties, variables, Auto Layout, and constraints.

• Practical experience creating reusable components or UI libraries.

• Basic understanding of design tokens, primitives, semantic tokens, themes, and modes.

• Understanding of common component states such as default, hover, pressed, focus, disabled, and loading.

• Ability to work within an existing structure and follow naming conventions.

• Basic understanding of Web and Mobile design constraints.

• Understanding of how Figma components relate to coded components.

• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.

• Fluent Russian.

• English at B2 level or higher — comfortable reading documentation, writing messages, and participating in work discussions.

• Experience working with design systems.

• Experience with Storybook, Supernova, Tokens Studio, or similar tools.

• Experience working across Web and Mobile products.

• Understanding of accessibility and localisation requirements.

• Experience collaborating with frontend or mobile developers.

• Experience with JSON-based design tokens.

• English at C1 level.
