Senior Go Developer

Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Go Developer to join a team working on a large-scale banking and lending platform. This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

The project focuses on further development of a credit processing and scoring ecosystem. The goal is to move from evaluating customers separately for each individual credit product toward a unified credit scoring and credit-limit approach, allowing several lending products to be offered within a single customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go.
• Design and implement functionality within a microservice architecture.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Work with credit-processing, scoring, and multi-product lending workflows.
• Implement reliable data processing and messaging between distributed services.
• Work with PostgreSQL and optimize SQL queries.
• Implement caching and performance optimization using Redis.
• Ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and maintainability of backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
• Support CI/CD and containerized deployment processes.
• Independently deliver assigned development tasks.
• Proactively communicate blockers and risks to avoid delivery delays.
• Participate in troubleshooting, defect resolution, and preparation for production release.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5+ years of commercial development experience with Go.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
• Practical experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and confident SQL skills.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience integrating backend services with external systems.
• Understanding of distributed-system reliability and fault-tolerance approaches.
• Experience with caching solutions such as Redis.
• Ability to independently deliver development tasks.
• Strong ownership and proactive communication skills.
• Ability to quickly escalate blockers and work effectively within a delivery-focused team.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in Banking or FinTech.
• Experience with credit processing / lending platforms.
• Understanding of credit scoring and decision-making systems.
• Experience with BPM or process orchestration solutions.
• Experience working with high-load or transaction-heavy backend systems.

Working Environment

• Remote, full-time position.
• Working hours are aligned with the project time zone.
• Expected working window: approximately 07:00–16:00 or 08:00–17:00 Minsk time; the final schedule is to be confirmed.
