Computational Designer / Grasshopper Specialist

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex, rule-based Grasshopper definitions suitable for production use;
• Translate clinical and product requirements into reliable geometric logic, proactively clarifying incomplete specifications;
• Create detailed models and animations of components such as joints;
• Develop and maintain JSON-based product workflows;
• Follow shared software-development conventions to ensure maintainability and a smooth handover;
• Communicate clearly and flag risks, blockers, and open questions early.

Required skills:

• Advanced Grasshopper expertise, including experience developing robust definitions for production use;
• Strong ability to translate complex requirements into parametric geometry;
• Familiarity with collaborative software-development workflows;
• Confidence reading and editing JSON;
• Regular use of AI and LLM tools in day-to-day work;
• Strong communication skills in English (B2).

Desirable experience:

• C# development for custom Grasshopper components;
• Git and CI/CD;
• Additive manufacturing and preparation of print-ready geometry;
• Orthopedics, medical devices, or anatomical geometry.
